Aethereal Appeal

Such a fascinating documentary about the city of Berlin during the rule of The Weimar Republic. This short film offers crucial insight into how far into sin & debauchery the city of Berlin had succumbed to prior to World War 2 and it also reveals those individuals at the root of its corruption and it does so through a very rose colored lens.

After World War One Germany had fallen into the hands of a government of “far left progressivism,” a sanitized way of saying “communism.” This ultimately led to its moral & societal decay. The permissiveness, the eroticism and the sin that was practiced and celebrated seems to reminiscent of this present day and age.

Eventually the gap between the haves and have nots broadened and those that “had not” certainly suffered much. Much like what we see today in America, though there’s a part of me which thinks America is far worse! It’s important to be informed of these events in history because as the adage goes, “history will repeat itself.”

Informative. Entertaining. Eye opening.
